Chabota Primary School Receives 50 bags of Cement from KGRTC
Chabota Primary School of Dimba Village, Kafue Gorge, received 50 bags of cement from Kafue Gorge Regional Training Centre (KGRTC) as support towards the construction of a 1 X 3 classroom block. The Director of KGRTC, Eng. Kaela K. Siame, handed over the cement, accompanied by KGRTC’s Marketing and Business Development Officer Mr. Leevan Mukonka. This donation was conducted as part of the KGRTC community social responsibility.
Receiving the cement on behalf of the school, Chabota School Deputy Head Teacher, Mrs. Mutinta S. Mwinga ,and Choogo Village Head Woman, Mrs. Julia Choongo, thanked Eng. Kaela Siame and the Centre at large for the generous support which would greatly advance the construction works.
The Chabota school project has been necessitated by the COVID-19 pandemic as the school seeks to increase infrastructure in order to promote social distancing in class as a way of minimizing the spread of the pandemic. KGRTC Director also took a tour of the other school infrastructure.
